Angie & Daniel – Niagara on the Lake

We met this beautiful U of T (University of Toronto) couple back in the summer. They had seriously pulled off an amazingly action-packed wedding day with the help of their wedding planner Erin Bosak. The wedding ceremony was held at the Rose Garden of Pillar and Post, following the photo session at Konzelmann winery.

Arriving at the historical Pillar and Post Inn, we immediately fell in love with the retro style of the architecture and decoration. The wedding dress that we hung on the chandelier looked like it belonged there.

It’s a tradition to exchange gifts on a wedding day, and a letter made the gift exchange more touching. And a fake letter before the real one just made that moment perfect.

The London Double Decker is the cherry on top of this perfect day at Niagara on the Lake. This family business has been serving the Niagara area for ages, it fits the atmosphere so well that we would consider it a must have for a hearty wedding at Niagara-on-the-lake.

We rarely talk about the food on weddings, because first we most of time do not have much time to really sit down and enjoy the meal, but rather swallow it whenever we had a chance. But the steak served at Pillar and Post was simply the best that we ever had on a wedding. It’s simply amazing how they managed to prepare the food so fine in such a massive scale. We would list it as the top recommendation for any couple who loves food and put it at high priority.

Vivian + Jason | Same Day Edit

We managed to capture this gorgeous footage and at the same time edited into a lovely featured short film by 8pm the same evening. From their North York condominium, to Thornhill parents’ home, down to the frosh week campus in University of Toronto, and back to the Toscana banquet hall in Hilton, Vaughan, everything ran just smoothly and we enjoyed this entire working process ourselves too.

The so-called “door-games” are an essential part of the traditional Chinese wedding, during which the groom typically needs to complete a series of fun tasks before he can finally meet the bride. It was just fun to see Vivian watch her husband-to-be over the high tech webcam, thanks to Microsoft for the amazing Kinect setup. The smiles on her face were nothing but sweet.

The banquet hall at Toscana Banquet and Conference Centre is perfectly designed (maybe not intentionally) that the sunlight comes right in when the doors were opened for their grand entrance, created that dream effect that usually requires high intensity lighting in movie productions.

Enjoy the video, and congratulations to the lovely couple.
