Cara & Leon | Engagement shoot @ Union Station

No Comments Engagement, Photography

Cara and Leon booked us for their wedding day in October, and they wanted to capture the urban Toronto in early spring for the engagement session. And they specifically wanted the pictures to be in black and white. So we came down to Union Station and captured the following.

For most photoshoot locations we would usually pick a time when there are few people around. That applies for most parks and some places of interests. This not only ensures we do not waste time on waiting for people to pass by, but also elimitate the chances of us capturing perfect emotions and expressions with some random people in the picture.

However for many urban streets and transit junctions such as Union Station, people in the background just enrich the picture with the perfect sense.

Karen and Zoltan | A night to remember

No Comments Cinematography, Engagement, Photography, Wedding Day

It was a beautiful sunny May day when we came to celebrate with the fun couple for their joint together at Eglinton Grand. Karen and Zoltan have contacted and befriended us since last year when they came to our studio to discuss the details and we had lots of good times and laughter during the meetings and the engagement session. From the engagement session we produced a movie poster with the bridal party as the casting and immediate family as the production crew. The posters fit perfectly the “now playing” display windows in Eglinton Grand.
It was the first Macedonian wedding we went and we enjoyed the unique atmosphere, where all guests dance in a circle in the joyful Macedonian music played by “the Boys from Bouf”.  We took the last scene of Eglinton Grand at night before we left, and it turned out to be the best scene many believe. Enjoy the pictures and video.
