Many think that winters in Toronto are long and unbearable, and there are just nothing to be exited about it. Ella and Ricky  proved them wrong. We started the day in Ella’s condominium by the lake near Etobicoke. Having the urban view of downtown Toronto as the backdrop through the huge windows, the girls arrived early to dress up and prepare the so-called “door games” for Ricky to complete. The east facing apartment facilitated us with much natural sunlight for our pictures and videos. The guys rushed in later, and was ordered to put on the props and dance for the chance to see his beautiful wife-to-be.

We headed to the Old Mill Inn after the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. The wedding chapel in the Old Mill Inn has been an all time favorite for couples in the GTA. The photo session that followed went great, thanks to the fun loving bridesmaids and groomsmen. Given the temperature, we were only outdoor in the garden for a couple of minutes and most pictures were taken indoor. We actually borrowed a half set up banquet hall for some of the pictures and they turned out to be real nice.

The reception was held in Crown Prince Fine Dining and Banquet near Victoria Park and McNicoll in North York. The decorators twisted the golden theme in this Chinese restaurant with some purple, which was in our opinions one of the best combinations of colors.

The wedding day was in a rare sunny day in April. When Jessica and Kian committed each other with a sweet “I do” in the spacious party room of Jessica’s condominium near Markham town center, a new journey began as this growing spring.

After a short travel from Scarborough to Markham, the fun started with the traditional Chinese door games. The wedding was combined perfectly with western and Chinese style. We were all astonished that they will use their condo party room for wedding ceremony, and then amazed how beautiful and gorgeous they turned the large, high ceiling party room into. And we captured every single joyful moment, not only for the couple, but also the guests attended their wedding. Love and happiness were that easy to express.

Canada’s Bridal Show is the biggest wedding services exhibition of the year, and Focus is proud to be part of it for its Fall 2010 show. We met many potential clients throughout the show and helped them as much as we could in terms of wedding photography. Focus also provided a special promotion just for the Bridal Show visitors. Free engagement photo giveaway is also an exciting gift from us, and we will be announcing the winner soon in October.

Our team has worked coherently and successfully for this show event. We all valued the show as a great opportunity for us to learn, grow and shine. As the bridal show weekend is also a busy working weekend for us, we were kind of exhausted after it. Good thing is there were many vendors of the show offered free coffees and free cakes, and many florists’ booths made the entire exhibition hall smelled wonderful. Did I mention the gorgeous catwalk?
