Vivian + Jason | Same Day Edit

No Comments Cinematography, Same Day Edit, Wedding Day

We managed to capture this gorgeous footage and at the same time edited into a lovely featured short film by 8pm the same evening. From their North York condominium, to Thornhill parents’ home, down to the frosh week campus in University of Toronto, and back to the Toscana banquet hall in Hilton, Vaughan, everything ran just smoothly and we enjoyed this entire working process ourselves too.

The so-called “door-games” are an essential part of the traditional Chinese wedding, during which the groom typically needs to complete a series of fun tasks before he can finally meet the bride. It was just fun to see Vivian watch her husband-to-be over the high tech webcam, thanks to Microsoft for the amazing Kinect setup. The smiles on her face were nothing but sweet.

The banquet hall at Toscana Banquet and Conference Centre is perfectly designed (maybe not intentionally) that the sunlight comes right in when the doors were opened for their grand entrance, created that dream effect that usually requires high intensity lighting in movie productions.

Enjoy the video, and congratulations to the lovely couple.

Carmen + Marcel | Same Day Edit Wedding highlights in Toronto

When the French gentleman met the oriental wedding culture, Marcel did a good job completing his series of tasks by embarrassing himself and his fellow groomsmen and running around the block, before he finally meets Carmen in their sweet apartment near North York Centre.

Marcel’s family drove a long way down from the far northern part of Canada, and welcomed by the Chinese style traditional tea ceremony in the party room of the newly built condominium. The sweet couple then headed downtown in a 1950′s vintage Bentley limousine.

It was a hot day and we were almost steamed in the Trinity St Paul Church, fortunately the ceremony was short and sweet, and each guest gets the programme sheet printed on a fan that helped ease the sweats.

The evening party was held in Rosewater Room on Toronto Street, a cozy dining hall that’s the most suitable for the level of intimacy that they advocated. With the live jazz music and songs, the candle litted room and the same day edit clip, this is surely a day to remember for the rest of their lives.

Aileen + Chris Same Day Edit Wedding Video

No Comments Cinematography, Same Day Edit, Wedding Day

Many think that the authentic traditional Chinese culture begins in the Han Dynasty. This was well defined by how Aileen and Chris dressed up for the Chinese tea ceremony in the morning.

Both the ceremony and the reception were held in Mandarin Golf Club in Markham. It was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony by the golf course as originally planned. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, and the wedding venue was shifted to inside the tent. Nevertheless, the wedding ceremony was smooth and everyone enjoyed the sweet moments.

The newly weds love travel, they have been to more than 10 countries. To show their enthusiasm for traveling, they named each table by a place they have been, and made the centre piece a gift that’s related to the country.

We worked with the video footage along the day and gathered the same day edit by the end of night. Enjoy!
